Specific services, timelines, and deliverables are governed by separate written agreements, proposals, or statements of work. These Terms apply in addition to such agreements.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Publishing outcomes are influenced by multiple factors beyond our control. As such:

  • We do not guarantee book sales, rankings, reviews, media coverage, or commercial success
  • Any references to distribution, reach, or positioning are process-based, not outcome-based

Our obligation is to provide services professionally and in good faith, not to guarantee results.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and materials
  • Respond to requests for review, approvals, or feedback within reasonable timeframes
  • Ensure that submitted content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights

  • Fees are payable according to the agreed proposal or contract
  • All fees are stated exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified
  • Payments made are generally non-refundable, except where expressly stated in writing

Where alternative solutions, credits, or revised scopes are agreed, such arrangements do not constitute an admission of fault.

7. Revisions and Approvals

  • Revisions are limited to what is specified in the agreed scope of work
  • Client approvals (including manuscript, design, or proofs) are deemed final once confirmed
  • MKR Publishing is not responsible for errors introduced after client approval

Clients say request exclusions in writing.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MKR Publishing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim

12. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the termination provisions stated in the applicable contract or agreement.

Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
